Of course not. There are a lot of factors that should be taken into account especially when dealing with issues close to the hearts of many. The numbers mentioned above are just statistics that could help us weigh on which side to tip the scales.

Are men or women more likely to cheat?
Society has portrayed men as the kind who cheat more easily, we have seen this in movies, books and there is even constant pressure from society behind men. Trend data dating back to the 1990s suggests that men have always been more likely to cheat than women.
According to researchers, the main reason people cheat is sexual dissatisfaction. Physical deception is the most common definition. Physical cheating is when you have sex with someone other than your partner. Men and women are able to engage in this action, but most often, women invest much more than just their carnal desire. For them, most often the physical cheating is also related to the emotional one. Women who cheat usually invest more than just their carnal desire. Most often, these women have an emotional attachment to their partners. Men are also sensitive to emotional cheating and do not even have to have sex to be called a traitor. For some, cheating online does not mean cheating, investing your attention, emotions and time in chatting and flirting with someone, watching porn videos is another form of cheating, no matter what purpose you have in doing these actions. . Now, women are also portrayed in the same way as men in movies, television and books, which are very different from previous decades in which they were most likely rescued by men or portrayed as the weaker sex.
Remember Cersei from Game of Thrones, anyone? What about Captain Marvel? The power of women has certainly increased and this is what we see every day.

What we do know is that men are better at sharing their affairs than women. They seem better at keeping their extramarital affairs separate from their formal relationships than women, they can hide their outward behaviors, and they seem to be less bothered by keeping these relationships hidden. How much I can do that, no one knows exactly!
Another research on couples who cheat on each other was done by the Institute of Family Studies. The study was conducted in 2018, establishing the demographics of infidelity in the United States and Europe.
According to data collected by IFS from the General Social Survey, in general, men are more likely to cheat than women. In their statistical survey done some time ago, the percentage of men and women who cheat are 20% men and 13% women, all reporting that they had sex with someone other than their husband, they being married, maybe they were watching hd porn and they did what they felt. Analyzing the figure above, age is a factor that plays into the percentage difference of the two sexes. In the case of married couples aged between 18 and 19, they state that, although there is a slight gap, women cheat more than men (11% compared to 10%). But this gap is rapidly reversing between the ages of 30 and 34 and is growing more in the age groups. Infidelity for both men and women is on the rise.

From what we have learned, we can easily say that: both sexes are prone to infidelity.
Although there have been key points that put more pressure on one gender than the other, we can never tell if women are cheating more than men or vice versa. One thing to keep in mind after reading this article: It’s not the gender that matters, it’s the person who cheats. Trust is necessary to be able to build a beautiful relationship, and the emotional trauma that comes with being cheated is horrible and no one deserves to go through it.
